I made an edition of 45 of this kitty. That is the largest edition I’ve ever made, using Legion Stonehenge cotten rag paper and I printed these bad boys by hand. This is based off of a inktober piece I did years ago that I made prints of that always sold, so I figured a screenprint of it would be a good idea. Some things turned out amazing, some things got lost, and I think that might just be how it is sometimes with printmaking, especially DIY at the house stuff. These are for sale for 20$ plus shipping and handling ($5 USD if you are continental USA), shoot me an email or dm me on Instagram and we can work something out.

The original image is above. I learned a lot about how screen printing works these last few months, what is and is not possible at the house with a light bulb and the ammount of patience that I possess. There is a lot of little details that I want, and I’ve come around to not having “true” black and white images. I like the gray, the ink that dried a little light, and I’m coming around to maybe doing just pencil rendering potentially.

I dunno how much printmaking I’ll be doing in the future, I liked a lot about it but it is a money drain, and I don’t do enough sales to justify much printing. I also need to make images to print, so that’s the other side of that coin. Maybe some form of photo lithography is actually what I’m looking for, but I’m open to trying something else.
